Re: IB 4 life vinyl contest... possible prize for the winner

Now thats just great :D

.jpeg or any other file formats will be just fine guys. I doubt anybody has the software to create the right file format, so any common picture file type will suffice.

Re: Build Log V2 (06' Si)

I'm thinking we need to do some 1" square steel tubing across the top, bottom, and down the center with a bolt about every 4-5" inches to eliminate any flexing. Maybe even bigger down the middle....

Re: Advice for electrical for running 4 OA 15s?

Just because its capable of drawing that much it doesn't mean you HAVE to play it 100%. Keep the gain low until you can get another battery or two to keep voltage up. Gives you room to grow and...

Re: Advice for electrical for running 4 OA 15s?

Get the alternator first, worry about a second/third battery later.

I'd skip on the Kinetics. XS power and Shuriken are a better choice imo. As always, you pay for what you get and batteries are...

Re: Advice for electrical for running 4 OA 15s?

Alts make power and batteries only store it. Imo its a better decision to buy the alternator rather than a bunch of batteries. Running that alternator with only one battery is no issue at all....

Re: Wanting loud midbass

I also vote for the silver flutes. I just got a set to replace my pwx's and I am liking them better (I guess I'm more of a midbass guy than I thought). My pwx's didn't like to be crossed low at all...

Re: Sub suggestion under $200

If you are planning on running any system at all then you should definitely do the big 3 in 1/0 because it helps so much. Its extremely easy to do the big 3 and you shouldn't have any problem doing...

Re: MB Quart ONX1 2000D Opinions

They are nowhere near what the discus amps were. If you expect it to keep up with your old dsc2000 you will be disappointed and when the mounting feet snap you will be even sadder.

I've never...

Re: I thought 3 12s is equal to 2 18s... No?

The formula for surface area is 3.14 x Radius^2. You don't just add up the diameters.

Re: 10 / 12" Line "Below" E Series ?

Looks great Jacob! I think it was a smart move making a lower line, and at that price point you shouldn't have any issues selling them.

Re: Anarchy Horn build (2 for now) coming soon

It shouldnt be a problem finding a few hours to do assembly this weekend. We will just use the little nail gun where we need to as well as the clamps. I don't think it will be that bad since its...

Re: How much wattage on Obsidian 12s

I followed his box recommendations for my 15 and it turned out very well. The manufacturer cannot tell you that it will take more than 600 watts for warranty purposes. They tell you 600 so that if...

Re: How much wattage on Obsidian 12s

Get yourself some good overhead because the 600 Watt rating is a joke. Personally I would have around 1200 per driver available. We can't tell you exactly how much they will take because it is very...

Re: Before I order... Re Sexv2 Best sub for $150?

I'm not saying I'll ever stop telling people lol. I just meant they always pop up because RE does a good job of making their subs appear to be good, so many people consider them. That's how they got...

Re: Before I order... Re Sexv2 Best sub for $150?

I'm tired of telling people not to buy those RE sex's. I had the v1 sex 15 and it was absolute garbage compared to my OA I replaced it with. Even though it has a bigger coil (3" vs 2.5") it couldn't...

Re: Trunk rattle vs less distance for bass to travel

That's how my civic has always been with the 15. We have similar trunks so I would do the wall for sure. My civic sounds like garbage firing back due to the box taking up so much room and the added...

Re: Trunk rattle vs less distance for bass to travel

I would do a forward firing wall with the baffle as far back as possible. If you fire the box backwards, you are going to have a lot of rattling going on. Also, there may not be enough room around...
