Re: 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Re: 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

There are a bunch of options for factory integration as today's oem head units are controlling more and more. my choice would be a Rockford 360 line, they've been around a long time and I can't...

Re: Kicker Audio - polarizing?

The issue with kicker subs is the people that use them(on average) and the prefab enclosures they come in. Those prefabs are generally way too small and tuned awfully high, sometimes even the mid...

Re: Sub Recommendation

Ssa zcon/Sundown z4.

The X isn't meant to take that kind of power, and the zcon would probably be pushed near it's limit.

Re: PVC port area head scratching

a single 4" or 2 3" is what i would do, leaning more towards a single port. round ports will be lower per sq ft than slots since they are more efficient as you've already mentioned, a fair bit more...

Re: the box guy on ebay????

definitely don't want to do that. a ported enclosure will hit anything range of notes that you want.

That ebay box looks alright, but its going to be a bit on the small side. It is 2 feet total,...

Re: what kind of system would you build around a Z-12 V.4 D2

if you are adamant about the z line there's no reason not to do so as they are fantastic subs, and great pretty damn loud. I just think the hcca will win out in the pure spl dept from what I've seen...

Re: How to never blow a sub or amp again?

As long as you use good gear, a proper install and common sense you shouldn't have any issues. The only item I've ever burned up was from abusing it day in and day out

Re: Need a set of components, or co axials

Polk db comps would sound great, as well as kappas. They both do well on low power, but don't have much mid bass, it's the trade off you will have to deal with on just hu power. The sundowns are...

Re: CDT CL-61 comps, cheap

The only things I need right now are 0 gauge fuse holder and a distro that fits 0 guage so I can run the cables in the truck.

I would entertain offers if you have something else though
