For those wondering why there is an Air conditioning unit in the door, he uses that to cool down the cabin to a specific temperature.

From what i've been hearing, depending on the ambient temperature of the cabin, there is a specific frequency to burp the Car at

Brazil is a freaking hot place and thus, the need for this

Cheers!

yeah imo it should be an outlaw class not a legal score.. it isn't even driveable man.. wtf...180 is impressive... if it was an actual car... so does that mean i can cram 300 15's in a semi trailer and bust a 220 and be a new record holder?

pretty much all extreme vehicles aren't drivable at any speed faster than about 3mph

lol yeah, what nick said. Thats because to mod the Car enough to survive that kind of pressure, you no longer can drive the damn thing.

I think everything should have to remain inside the vehical, non of this using a 4x4 frame and putting your body on top,and all your batteries under the body. Its no longer a car, therefore its now an object. You are suppose to be able to drive these things SAFELY into and out of the lanes,There is so much weight ,that if a brake line blew, there is no way to stop these things, and thats not safe. Also dante has his windows painted so you cant see inside,or out of.How is that safe? Not a hater, and i know its extreme class, but i would rather see a real vehical hit a 170,then something homemade hit a 180.

I don't care if it's homemade or what, it has to be able to drive up and withstand 180db+ of pressure. That's insane for something that is like every car, it runs off automotive batteries, charges via alternators, and enters the lane under it's own power. Besides, in some orgs even the cars that are hitting 150's and such in some of the lower power classes aren't driveable, the interiors are gutted and they foam chit to the point windows don't work. I don't see a difference between building a tank-like vehicle for Extreme or building a Car for a lower power class that's lost all it's creature comforts and would not be something anybody would want to drive.

Its not a car anymore is my point.cement ,steel, bullet proof glass. Like i said i am more impressed with regular vehical doing a 160-170 then an object doing a 180.

if you limit this to just cars that look and act like cars, then you're limiting the SPL limit we can achieve. This isnt really about the loudest "car" anymore.. it's about the loudest created noise we can make. lol no CAR will ever be able to handle those kinds of SPL levels and still be a car..

I agree. It's one thing to build a machine capable of a short burst and then get parked. The numbers are great but I'm not thoroughly impressed. I DO get impressed when you can ride down the road pulling 160's though. Kinda like the guys who drive their rides to the drag track and bust all the trailer queens arses then drive it right back out of the track while everyone else is busy loading their cars and packing up their stuff.

I bet we will see a 170 in a drivable car or truck sometime soon. There is a guy around here that does a 163.?? on music. he drives it up and down the street everyday beating hard as hell. Give it time someone will build a 170 music car/truck/suv soon. Hell its probably already out there.

lol guys here at Bandimere hated us for that bust a low 11 or high 10 and not be trailer-ed... made them sick...

I feel the same about extreme class cars.. so what.. it can fart a 180.... you still cant drive it...so whats the fking point?

With the work that goes in to those vehicles, I would NEVER look at one and say "so what... it can fart a 180." That's a damn hard score to get and very impressive, whether you like the extreme class or not.

Default Re: Alan Dante! Close up of a 180 dB car

no.. it is far from impressive to me... any retard can throw 50 subs in a huge area and fart a 180 imo... just requires alot of money...do that **** in a daily driver and that will impress me....

wow sic, I thought you were wiser than that. Probably the most ignorant statement I've ever seen you post.

Not to mention you're talking about a guy who's broken the 180's on two subs...

might seem ignorant to you but i remember when people were busting 160's on 2 subs in daily drivers...look how many people have done it in a rez... too many to bother counting....

his build doing 180 is impressive if all you look at is the #'s... but my point is so what....anyone with alot of $$$$ can do the same thing any day of the week in an extreme class since their is no limits... you wanna impress me? do a 170 in a daily driver on 2 subs...

Default Re: Alan Dante! Close up of a 180 dB car

I disagree, there is a level of skill and knowledge that is required to make a 180db+ comp vehicle, I don't believe anybody with money could do the same thing any day of the week. There are so many factors to account for, this guy has to air condition the cabin to keep his peak frequency from changing due to the changing temps of where he competes. That's crazy to me, there is so much involved in these vehicles and what they do to compete. It's not just money. It's a LOT of skill and working your way up through the ranks to where a company will sponsor you with the money they do. You may not like his vehicle or class, but what he's done is damn impressive and deserves respect.

i'm sorry but thats SO FAR from the truth.....

if you put 50 subs in anything i promise you couldn't do a 180... iirc craig butler had the most subs out of anyone to break a 180 and that was 9 dd z 10(might have been 12's can't remember) he's since stepped down a bit in woofer count.

considering there's what only 5-6 people in the world that have done it should hvae shown you how difficult it was...

anyone thats not impressed by a 180 needs a realityg check. it takes INSANE ammounts of work and money.. with just money your only choice would be to hire someone thats done it before or plan on spending several thousand hours .
