Default 15" BL SketchUp Models. Pictures. Help!

Anyways, these are some of my models for a 15" BL.

Both models are right around 4cuft, tuned to 32hz with 60-65" of port.

I need the proper dimensions for the Model #2's port. I do not know how big the port should open, or long it should be? Can someone help me out?

Dimesions of box are 28" deep, 29" wide and 14" high. Want it tuned around 32hz.

Model #1

Model #2

Thanks, LMK

I thought u were gonna do the first one? And model 2 looks bad, the port looks like it exceeds the 1:8 ratio. And I just think that the first one would be better.

Why would you do 2 ports?

From my experience, labrynth ports suck...Too much restriction.

I am going to stick to the single port design.

Thanks though Corey.

for model 2 were those the max dimensions that you can fit? Also whats the vehicle?

If you did the second box you would have to put a divider in the port, more than likely.

maybe put a piece of MDF down the middle of the port itself, from the port entry to where the port ends. would give much more stability. 45s may also help increase airflow

also, maybe get a 2x2 or two to sterengthen up that baffle? cant ever be too safe.

I will probably end up doing that port bracing. Maybe some 45's and some triangle braces for the top baffle.

Thanks for the ideas G.

well, the divider would help bracing and give a better ratio of height to width of the port. To wide and short can hurt overall flow. Why do you think pipes are tubular?
