Angry Problem.....AGAIN!

I just put the 18"s back in my Car after repositioning the recone and i am still getting a tapping noise... but it is aligned perfectly!? if you push on the center of the sub there is no noise!? Also i noticed that the one that is making the noise looks like it is inverting while the other plays normaly?? WTF!! I am so confused and pissed off at this point cause i have no idea what the problem could be

hmm well try rotating each of them 180* degrees. i know it sounds weird but when i had my home audio subs i re-coned and they played fine for a few weeks but later on i alos had a noise idk if it was the cone or coil but i rotated them and idk if that shifted the weight or what but they dont make that noise no more so it worth a try i guess.

my audiobahn did that. i pulled it out and set it down. played it and there was nothing. picked it up to put it back in the box and it did it again. then i realized it was upside down. so it sat in my box with "audiobahn" upside down.

im assuming you mean inverted. in which case, you could just switch the polarity and be done with it.

Default Problem Solved!

Well i finally figured out what the problem was.... I pulled the sub out today and found the prolem to be a loose solder on one of the tinsel's. I cant believe that that was the problem the whole time.... there wasnt a solid connection so the sub made a tapping noise whenever the tinsel got a solid connection. it was never the coil at all hahaha im so relieved, finally i can get my system up and running!!
