U might want to restate this in a different way....subs arent capable of creating any wattage but i understand ur ? either way...realistically they can take up to 4KW for daily but tht is with care and as far as burps ive heard anywhere from 5KW-8KW.

im not trying to bash you, but by the way you worded everything.....no
YOU cant give a BTL 4kw
the more Power you have, the harder it is to controll
i don't think you really have the skills to set everything up correctly

Yeah, I'm real sure you know what you're doing if you can't even look up specs on a sub you think you want!

you could probably give it 2500-3000 watts daily with little worries, subwoofers are not as complicated as you think they are...do some research on the basics and eventually everything should fall into place.

First off, the BTL is a competition subwoofer. Sure you can get the "daily" option but it is what it is. Second, do you even have enough CLEAN power to run one? Let alon the space and enclosure designing ability?

No offence, as I know its not my place to tell, but would like to air my view.

For a first system, I wouldn't go all out.

My first system was an active sub package, from then i learnt more about audio and got a small mono block, 1x12 and an enclosure, then i progressed and got the 4 10s. You cant jump into the deep end of the pool before you learn to swim.

daily, 3-4k will be fine, as long as its @ 1 ohm and above..and clean.

As usual, you have to be careful overpowering any sub that much.

It is a genuine question. Personally i wouldn't it more than 2.5-3kw.

Also i have to agree with Lexus.

2400.. don't take this wrong. But your 16, probably one of your first system. Based on the ??'s I've seen you asking it doesn't seem like you have the electrical, the box building skills or equipment or knowledge yet. WHy not go smaller to start. Maybe a couple decent 10's or 12's and a nice 800-1000 watt mono. Build a nice simple ported box. A good 4 gauge wiring kit. It doesn't make sense to go big without the knowledge or it'll just sound like crap, or it'll end up blown up or damaged. People always start backwards on sytems.. Subs are the smallest part of a good system. Do you have a good alternator, or batteries capable of sustaining 3000+ watts, or a good headunit, and a good frontstage(mids/highs) to keep up with a BTL on 3000???

For daily (im 15 BTW) you can run it between 2k-4k watts RMS with a good amplifier, alternator, batter, and some good wiring, it would be a good system, i have 2 15 inch Memphis Mojo's and it is only my second system lol. I dont have a camera yet so one I do, I will post videos.

lmfao you guys crack me up! but dont hate on our young guns the earlier you start the more you can learn but i agree with the above statement start small and work your way up most likely you could do 2 12's and be louder than 8556786686 18's and 786746 amps because 2 12's and a single amp is hard to screw up spend your time on this forum doing your research you will be happy in the long run
