Default best quality woofer for the price?(cheap

what would be the best quality subwoofer for its price? .. ive decided to go ahead and buy new woofers instead of ****ing with those fosgates. i need 2 cheap but effective woofers. i was looking at brands like kicker, jl audio, rockford fosgate, volfenhag, ect. the cheap brands. i just want something that sounds ok. and wont blow the first time i use them.

thanks

pics of what i bought.

I don't know how much Power you have but I recently got 2 12" MAWs from www.mach5audio.com and they pound nicely for the price (~100 bucks each). I'm giving them 400W each.

Welcome to ROE

You really only mentioned ONE (Volfenhag) cheap brand..... Wat is your range per woofer, and how much Power do you have?

I would go Alpine type R, cuz I love em, and at around 120 per driver you can't go wrong, they sound amazing with as little as 125 watts each, and can take upwards of 1000 watts each

Just get em in a ported box big enough that they don't choke and you'll never need anything else.

For the price, you cannot beat them

i recently bought 2 RF punch 2's and a ported box for 50 bucks.
problem is the woofers are kind of old. one is 400w/8ohms and the other is 200w/8ohms. ... ive been gettin jumped in the amp forum ( im trying to get into car audio.. i love music so i decided to get into it) cause im not really clear about ohms law and watts ect. but from what they've told me hooking those up to one amp will be a pain. im not sure. but i was just looking at my options

Most any the Mach 5 Audio stuff is great bang for the buck. Also Audioque makes a good quality driver for the money. The Sundown SD-1 v1 is a great made woofer for the money also. Another driver that is cheap and does well is the PG RSD. There alot of them out there, there isnt realy a "best".

also

if i dont have to i really dont want to buy new subs. if anyone can help on what kind of amp to buy to put with those that would be great.. i just dont understand cause there 8 ohms. and i read that pushing to little ohms in a woofer is what blows them. so using the parallel method both woofers ohms would be 4. i dont know. now im confused. then im not sure about the watts. urg. im confused.

well thanks for the imput guys !!!

i really h8 2 say this but... lightning audio subs r sumwhat decent 4 the price... rouns 15-25 bux. if u goin real cheap. hadda buy 1 2 hold me over till i got my new system cuz my old sub got destroyed in an accident. it actually suprised me on how well it did 4 a meijers brand sub. give it a decent ported box n port it low n u might b suprised at what u get 4 20 bux. but if i wuz u id get sumthin a lil more expensive.
