I know the internals is what counts but I only imagine there are only so many diffrent ways the coil can be configed, stiffness of the spider can be varried, the way the coil is cooled ect.....

nothing really special about them, i mean a subwoofer is just a vc moving in a magnetic gap. The Nightshade is just a quality sub made by a quality company that can get loud and play low

Thanks, Yah from what i have read on the reviews for Sundown products I really hope there around for a while and get a chance to run some of there gear.

Than you can't just compare Fi to Sundown...You would have to compare all subwoofers in general. There's a lot more than just sticking a coil in a motor and put a cone on it and call it a sub.
