Whats so special about these compared say something like a Fi(never used Fi and dont have a Fi boner). Alot of new subs comming out look the same. I know the internals is what counts but I only imagine there are only so many diffrent ways the coil can be configed, stiffness of the spider can be varried, the way the coil is cooled ect.....

Again not trying to be a dick just looking for knowledge. Thanks.
nothing really special about them, i mean a subwoofer is just a vc moving in a magnetic gap. The Nightshade is just a quality sub made by a quality company that can get loud and play low

Try looking again with your glasses

J/K... but seriously, it has nothing in common with a BTL except the basket. Not even the magnet stack is the same size.

only so many different ways???

Than you can't just compare Fi to Sundown...You would have to compare all subwoofers in general. There's a lot more than just sticking a coil in a motor and put a cone on it and call it a sub.
