Default Looking for Daily Sub

Im looking for good brand beside ****ing ma audio for a daily sub. Im looking for a 15 inch with 2000rms or beter. With great cooling (daily) I have a 5cb foot box @ 34hz. So i dont want to Build a new box. I got $450 to spend. What do you guys recomend?

lol..rfl daily????.that is not be a daily sub at all....its a pure spl sub...i had one before , it sounded like ass on music......
and the orion to me is more of a spl sub to.....

a btl will be what you want. and will fit in your budget...well almost..lol

it was the best i could find at 3 20am lol a 2000rms daily driver 15 for $450 aint one of the most commen subs lol i figured they was both spl subs but it was something.

That would be my choice.

If you keep the power down to 1500Wrms then a 16OV2 would work well, but it would be a low end monster. That would be my choice if the amps over rated.

if going the aq route the old school hd315 is the way to go. mine was loven my orion 2500d

imo the hdc3 is an spl only sub... And it won't take 2kw very well in that large of a box.

btl's are proven.

Yea i realy want somthing with 2000rms or more that could also fit my box. I love power. Im also geting a Crunch 3000 d pro. So i need somthing that can handle alot of power but still be for daily.

Whats the Xmax on the btl? 18mm. Cuz my eho152 has the same and i think im bottoming it out on 1200rms

You can't compare the two because they are completely different subs with completely different suspensions.

Another sub to look at is a used Treo SSX.

iirc loaded btls are around 26mm xmax. it takes serous power to bottom out a btl(you'll need more than that gp3000d to do it).

Wow how stiff is it?

My eho152 was so stiff when i got it i though it was blown. I could not even move the cone. After giving it some power its soft as hell. roflmao

Yea about 2 inchs tops. Thats good though. So Im thinking of the btl at 2 ohms with cruch 3000 d pro at 1500rms.

if you have an sub that's capable of taking 3kw, and an amp that's capable of putting out 3kw, why wouldn't you just get a dual-2 BTL and get all you can out of your equipment?
Just seems pointless not to, unless you can't afford the electrical to feed that amp.
