MOST subs require NO break in. VERY FEW.

Bump lightly if you wish, but there is really no need.

just throw it in and dont beat the ish out of it for the first few days or so.. give it time to loosen up at a normal listening volume...

others may agree, others may not. but thats what i do.. give it a few days b4 you really rip on it.

accualy there was a guy that wall socketed his Mach 5 SPL 12 to break it in I believe he did all sorts of **** to it but he was a hardcore SPL guy too so if it survived that abuse it was good enough to make it in the car

all break in is meant to do is prevent people from overpower their woofers because their suspension is stiff...so not moving as much as it will broken in.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Place the sub in the oven.
Cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Turn the sub over, cook for 30 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Makes 4 servings.
That should loosen up the spiders for ya.
