Default Opinions on 10" SSA DCON 10D4

Thinking about buying one. Only one, running off of a Kenwood 9104D. It'll be getting 321watts RMS...amp has been bench tested at 12.1volts with that output. But back to my original question, who's used one before or heard them in person?

Depends on what you want it for really. I've heard two 10's in a ported box. Very clean little woofers. Just the right amount of loudness for me. Sometimes a little too much, but I'm an SQ fairy and can't handle deebeez.

I don't want anything thats going to wake up the neighbors...i can't stand hearing my system when standing outside my Car for that matter, i just like all the bass in the cabin and for good sound quality with decent output. I figure for roughly $150 its worth a try, if its not what i want then i'll toss it in the stang and play with an enclosure in their.

these really are amazing subs for the money. Sound=Vibrations, Jonecon2001 and a few others have heard them. However, just we just put them out to market a few days ago not many people own them yet. But rest assured, they are great woofers, we wouldn't put a SSA dustcap on it other wise

Just my .02 cents.

The thrive in medium sealed, and will really surprise on small ported enclosures. Not an SPL competition sub woofer by any means, but for the size of the box and the amount of power, they can provide some strong output with out needing much power.

We are very happy with these models. Hope they will open the SSA name up to a wider audience, especially the real SQ heads that want a clean and transparent sound with out needing much power.

Yeah I am excited about these too. But there are other low power SQ subs on the market, such as the dayton reference series. But these look promising.
