Does anybody know what sounds bettter, the hifonics goliath XX3212 or the alpine type r. if i get the hifonics im only gttin one but if i get the r ill get two. any sub i get will be pushed by a hifonics amp

Well... you could go with the Type R unless you'd rather the Hifonics system.. Either is fine but the Type R has more praise from the high people

No.. i'm thinking he is just obsessed with them.. BUT.. Galacticmonkey has/had 3 15" type r's and he liked them so go with what you want and let US know how you liked them.

Type R sencitivity= 85 dB
Type R peak power= 1500w

Goliath sencitivity= 98.29 dB
Goliath peak power= 6400w

i will admit i like the hifonics better. it looks like a beast, but ive only seen one set in action and it was on this web site. ive seen the r's hit 149db tho. and the rear end on the hifonics is gorgous.

p.s. i have a kicker L7 15" and i hate it, the center blew out on me and i had to cylicone it. it works fine and sounds new but i didnt even have it at the full rms. im sellin it for $50 if ne ones interested
