do NOT buy those plug and play kits off ebay. theyre made in china garbage. ive gone through every brand until i finally learned my lesson.

the only right way to do HIDs is to retrofit projector lenses into your headlight housings and buy ballasts and some bulbs. it gets pretty expensive, but WELL worth it in the end.

oh and also - dont get any other color besides 5-6k (pure white). anything above 6k dramatically reduces your visibility on the road.

dooooont do it man. bulbs will burn out after a month and the ballasts are made by little chinese kids.

also - if you get HIDs and do not have projector lenses - the beam pattern will be incorrect on the road. the light will go every direction except for where you need it to be.

HIDs were made to work in projector housings - not reflector housings.

all you will do it blind everyone who drives at you and you will be hated. not to mention the tickets youll get.

Dont buy any halogen light bulbs. I made a huge mistake and bought one pair of 6000K halogens and one pair of 8000K. They looked cool but the extra current they drew ruined my whole harness . Luckily I found out before it got to my onboard computer. So if you want to get that nice tinted light you might as well get a nice HID kit.

I have an 8000K kit from www.mobilehid.com. I haven't had a lick of trouble with it. But, my 2008 xB has projector housings.

I recommend upgrading the actual housing and retrofitting them with projector housings from a Car with projectors and factory HID. There's an HID forum.

These kits fit into your stock headlight. All you need to know is your what type of stock lights you have. And they only draw 35 watts while stock lights draw at least 60 watts and go up o like 75 watts. So you can use that extra Power for a bigger amp lol.

It's easy, really. There's a wiring kit that comes with the kit from MobileHID. It attaches to your + and - on your battery. You just put the HID lights in where they're supposed to, in you lights. Then plug in the one end of the harness with the relay to your stock headlight plug.

It's really easy, bro. Oh yeah, have to mount the ballasts somewhere, too.
