Also I wanted to address one thing that may be a concern to some of the potential buyers. There are some reviews out there that state that the device is slower than the term lab. It is true and false in some respect. I spoke with the fouder of the company as well as the head of the state side sales in regards to this problem. As it stands the Term-lab take a reading ever 1 second. The meters from spl labs are all a little different. The usb meter is ever .5 seconds, the blutooth wireless meter is ever 1 second, and the LCD is ever 1.5 seconds. To fix this they are releasing new software in the near future that will slow the usb meter down and speed up the LCD meter. All of the meters will now take a sample every 1 second after the software update, as the term lab does. The LCD meter when not connected to the computer, and using only the handheld device will continue to sample ever 1.5 seconds.

from all my research and reading, the owner said that it's spot on with accuracy with term lab with test tones, but has different algorithyms for music so the music reads a bit different with like bass boxing than that of term lab, but at that point he had said he was working on getting software to make it more accurate. that was about a year ago I believe

Hey for $319 compared to the $650 of the term lab... is there really any comparison lol.

I ordered one of the LCD meters for myself. I cant wait till it comes in.
