they are made by pierce audio products

www.piereceaudioproducts.com

the noise sounds like fluttering from the port. if not, it could be the coil hitting the back plate.

yeah, but it just sounded like bass. no mechanical noise or anything. and it couldnt have been port noise since they were sealed.

it's ported. look behind the sub and you'll see the slot port. also, the owner of the copmany said it was in a 2 cu. ft. ported enclosure.

The sub box was sitting on a wooden table and bouncing off of it. That is the noise in the vid. You can see my fingers towards the end trying to hold it down but it didnt help. The sub free air makes no mechanical noise at full excursion . I will make a new much better video soon

I will do it free air with test tones and another vid with it ported doing some tones and music. I guess I'll have to use my house amp 390 wrms. My 2 WMD 15's were jacking the trunk lid so hard it compleatly blew out the seal and got watter in my Rockford Fosgate type rfx7. it smoked When I get it back from rf I can make a higher Power video. I also managed to crack the windsheild quite a bit but it already had a rock chip so thats cheating. I ran a few freq. sweeps standing by the back of the Car when I went to turn it off I noticed the windshield was cracked from side to side and top to bottom in 4 places Even with the chip it was cool.
